Motorola have today announced that they will be holding an Android event next month in San Francisco. Scheduled to take place on Thursday September 10th, Motorola are expected to unveil their first Android handsets - presumably the Motorola Sholes, and Motorola Morrison handsets. Other than the Android logo displayed on the invitation, there's been no other official details released by Motorola about the event. A budget version of the Samsung Galaxy, the Samsung GT-I5700 has this week been approved by the FCC. Known as the Samsung Galaxy Lite, technical details on the handset have yet to surface. But we do know that the device will support GSM bands, and feature Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Samsung Galaxy I7500 is currently available across a number of European countries, and is expected to launch in the UK later this week on the O2 network.
