O2 UK have finally added the long awaited Samsung Galaxy I7500 Android phone to their online store. The handset is available on a number of different pricing tariffs including 18 to 24 month network contracts.
The Samsung Galaxy features a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5 mega-pixel camera, and upto 40GB of storage (8GB internal with microSD Card support for upto 32GB.
The Samsung Galaxy I7500 is available free on an 18 month package priced £44.05 a month with 1200 free minutes, and 1000 texts.

T-Mobile USA are set to debut a new star-studded TV commercial for their myTouch 3G handset. The new ad campaign will begin airing across the US tomorrow, and will feature celebrity endorsements from the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, Phil Jackson & Jessie James.

Motorola have today announced that they will be holding an Android event next month in San Francisco. Scheduled to take place on Thursday September 10th, Motorola are expected to unveil their first Android handsets - presumably the Motorola Sholes, and Motorola Morrison handsets.
Other than the Android logo displayed on the invitation, there's been no other official details released by Motorola about the event.

Motorola Android Event Scheduled For September 10th
A budget version of the Samsung Galaxy, the Samsung GT-I5700 has this week been approved by the FCC. Known as the Samsung Galaxy Lite, technical details on the handset have yet to surface. But we do know that the device will support GSM bands, and feature Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy I7500 is currently available across a number of European countries, and is expected to launch in the UK later this week on the O2 network.

Samsung Galaxy Lite Approved By The FCC
More images have surfaced today of an unnamed Android MID device. The makers and indeed specs of this little 4.5-5" touchscreen tablet are currently unknown.
All we do know is that the device runs the Android platform, includes an SD slot, and may also have a SIM slot.
As Engadget point out, the device could be the long-awaited Wallet from France's eviGroup, but nobody seems to know for sure. Hopefully more information on this Android MID will be revealed soon.

The guys over at BoyGeniusReport have managed to get their hands on a roadmap of Verizon Wireless’ upcoming handset release dates for 2009.
Included in the roadmap is Motorola's first android phone, the Motorola Sholes, with a planned launch set as early as October of this year.

Footage of the HTC Click (Android's entry-level smartphone) has recently appeared online. In the video, the HTC Click is shown to be running the upcoming Android Donut build, and is compared against the HTC Magic handset.
It is worth noting that this HTC Click model isn't running HTC's Sense user interface (as seen on the HTC Hero), which may suggest that the HTC Click is likely to be a "with Google" Android phone.
