Chinese website pconline.com.cn have published images of a new Philips handset that they claim is powered by the Android platform. Whilst none of the published images display any evidence of Android on the handset, the website does plan to publish a detailed review of the handset shortly.
The Philips V808 features a 3.2-inch touchscreen HVGA display along with a 3.2 mega-pixel camera.
This is the first we've heard about Philips working on an Android phone, and hopefully we'll see some visual confirmation of Android up and running on the V808 shortly.
